Practice Manager, Lead Veterinary Technician

I have been a veterinary technician for 25 years, most of that time at a small practice in the east Bay. I have studied and attended many management courses over the last ten years and I was happy to join Midtown Animal Hospital in late 2015 as the Practice Manager after relocating to Sacramento. I truly enjoy my role supporting our great veterinary team and the fabulous midtown community of people and pets.  My true passion is working with my favorite breed the Chinese Shar-pei and their owners.

From showing horses and having ferrets as a kid, animals have always been a part of my life. As a mid-life career change I decided to involve myself in helping animals.  I went to college to become a registered veterinary technician and interned at Midtown Animal Hospital.  After receiving my license I became a permanent member of the Midtown team.  When not at work I enjoy hiking with my dog, Duncan, hanging out with my cat Loola and trying new restaurants with my husband Andrew.
