Patient Arrival Policy

For the safety of all animals in our care, we require that all vaccinations be up to date. Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings and other pets.

For your protection, and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms.  All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash.

For your convenience, 'drop-off' appointments are available upon request for our established clients only. A 'drop off' means you could bring your pet at the time that works best for you and leave him/her with us for a couple of hours. Remember that a drop off appointment must be confirmed BEFORE arriving at the clinic. Usually we will ask you to drop off sometime in the morning so our doctors can examine the patient in between appointments or at the time purposely reserved for admitted patients. Once the doctor is done, he/she will give you a call to discuss the recommended diagnostics and treatment for the pet.


Payment Policy

We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For hospitalization and surgery appointments, a deposit will be collected when the animal is dropped off at the clinic. Please allow a few minutes to review your estimate and fill out the hospitalization forms. Clients who cancel less than 24 hours before a specialist appointment will be charged $100 for radiology and cardiology and $400 for surgery. For your convenience, we accept Debit, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Care Credit and cash.

Prescription Refills

In our ongoing effort to make your pet's health care as convenient and easy as possible, you can now request a refill for your pet's prescription by our in-clinic pharmacy by submitting the following form. Please be sure to fill in all the requested information, especially a contact phone number. By law. a prescription refill must be first approved by a doctor so we ask that you allow up to 24 hours for this to be processed.  

We will contact you by phone to let you know when the prescription is ready to be picked up at our office or if there is a question or delay involved with the request.

For medications or products that we don't carry or for owners who would like the convenience of mailed prescriptions, we now have an on-line store to serve those needs. /online-storepharmacy.pml
